WAN-IFRA’s Emerging Markets Webinar Series is a series of complementary, virtual workshops designed to equip news media companies from emerging, transitioning or post-conflict markets with new mobile and editorial strategies and tactics.
The 60-minute webinars will run between May 27 and September 24 2014, and are available to all media managers and executives who have participated in WAN-IFRA’s media development programmes and events.
Two parallel Series will be offered on alternating weeks over the next 5 months:
- The Mobile & Digital series will focus on topics such as monetizing mobile products, placing your audience at the centre of the digital experience, future trends in mobile and digital advertising, and more;
- The Editorial series will focus on topics such as newsroom management, data journalism, effective story telling, business and finance reporting, and conflict reporting. It will also provide some overlap with the Mobile & Digital series in offering trainings on audio and video storytelling, and tapping into social media to drive an audience.
The Emerging Markets Webinar Series is designed to equip up-and-coming media professionals with new tactics and strategies to propel their companies’ products and services to the next level, through invaluable knowledge sharing and guidance from leading professionals from around the world.
